how do i know? Something you should keep in mind prior to a canoe trip in the outback! Since they are considerably smalled that saltwater crocs eg 1- 2.5m vs 5 - 7m, they can lift their bodies rather than dragging them on the sand! So if you look at the tracks, theres feet and tail tracks but no body. Nice to know
