My Son / My Lai Masacre

US troops assumed non-VC members in the village would have gone to the market at the time they entered. Hence everyone present was considered VC - and were subsequently masacred. Mostly women and children (347 total), some shot at point blank range - effectively executed, and not a single shot was fired by the supposedly VC villagers... It reminded me distinctly of Cambodia.
