Mexico Through the Ages

The giant mural inside the government palace was created by Diego Rivera to depict Mexico´s history from the Aztecs through the Spanish conquest to modern day Mexico. There are many famous faces including Porfirio Diaz, Emiliano Zapata and Benito Juarez, who are all key figures in Mexican history.

Mexico City is such a strange place. It probably has one of the worst reputations on the planet. They have a saying here in Mexico "If you want to show your Mexican patriotism, kill a chilango."
