Peacock Clock

The picture is terrible, but this was an actual working clock. To perserve it, it was not functioning while we were there but they do run it to keep it function, but it was made of gold and at the top of the hour, all of these pieces move, such as the peacocks tail feathers. Just to see it, you could not even tell it was a clock, which is located in the little mushroom at the bottom center but you knew it when it was the top of the hour.
Weekend in "Peter"

I had a very good weekend in, as they would call it, "Peter", short for Saint Petersburg.
