left bangkok and traveled 1 hour by train north to ayuthaya an island formed by the merging of 3 rivers and a former thai capital though thailand seems to have more capitals than a word document,looked for a place given in the lonely planet in sweltering heat but we were told they had no rooms decided to have a few cold ones while we came up with a plan[which turned out to be have a few more beer ... read more
