Emma (Emmanuel)

Emma’s parents came from a background of poverty, illiteracy and alcohol addiction and it wasn’t long until Emma became an orphan when both parents died of AIDS. He was taken in by an Aunt and eventually a brother but both couldn’t afford to support him, which led to life on the streets. Emma wanted strongly an education and found an NGO that would pay his school fees. This allowed him to go to school yet he would bath in the lake and sleep on the street at night. In grade P5 Emma sought out Stephen and was accepted into the family. Ema is a bright and promising student, near the top of his class at Busoga Junior, which is recognized as one of the best schools in the area. At school he was also elected as the "sports perfect" for his talent in football (soccer).
