A few of their stories...

Peace was brought to El Shadai in 2004 when she was found near death, abandoned at the age of 2. Although Peace was very young and the home is already crowded, Stephen tells me there was no other alternative but to bring her into the family. Since then her health has improved drastically. I have yet to see Peace without a smile. When I told her I was taking her picture she ran to her room to put her best dress on. Peace loves to dance to Shakira, and I might add she moves her hips just as well.

I knew the moment I met Stephen that he was someone special. There are certain people that just have a light around them... “good energy” I guess you could call it.
