To be honest, I am 9,350 feet above sea level in Quito, Ecuador the second highest capital in the world. La Paz, Bolivia takes that honor at around 11,975 feet above sea level. Well, through good timing and lots of luck, I am about to hit the skies again. It has been far too long since my last journey. As much as I love going to visit my family each year, the act of heading to the airport and climbing on a plane to the homeland lacks the edge, excitement and the element of the unknown that a trip abroad brings. Sounds like Travel Brenno is gearing up for a big adventure... or should I say Travel Brenda? :) Maybe Buena Brenda can be your Ecuadorian persona?! Ok I'm getting too carried away with this. Looking forward to reading about your experiences. Love the food photos :)

Love the beginning of a trip
Ah, Brenda. This is something I have dealt with my whole life. I am not too upset when I get Brandon or Brian, but Brenda I cannot tolerate. Still, I prevented it, and off I went. Brenno was with me on this trip, and you will see a lot of him. lol
