We drove this morning from the Charlotte area across the northwest corner of South Carolina to Hartwell, Georgia.. Watsadler Campground is operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers on Hartwell Lake. This is a man-made lake bordering Georgia & South Carolina on the Savannah, Tugaloo, & Seneca Rivers. Our campsite was nestled in a pine forest on the lake.
