We drove this morning from the Charlotte area across the northwest corner of South Carolina to Hartwell, Georgia.. Watsadler Campground is operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers on Hartwell Lake. This is a man-made lake bordering Georgia & South Carolina on the Savannah, Tugaloo, & Seneca Rivers. Our campsite was nestled in a pine forest on the lake. We strolled through downtown Hartwell; lots of gift shops, furniture stores, and restaurants. One shop had a custom made kitchen island on rollers we really liked. It was fun window shopping!

The campsites were nicely spaced and included picnic tables and firepits. Starlink was a challenge due to all the trees; but we finally got a connection.
