This imposing building , rising up in the background, has been covered in scaffolding for years, since a cleaning project was completed. Apparently there are no funds for pulling it down, and the government won’t fund it.
Day 28: Windmills, Kinderdyjk, And Brussels.

This morning was a crisp, early start, and after a few free coffees from the hotel we slept in, Natalia drove us to Kinderdyjk, a cluster of 19 traditional windmills that has been preserved for tourist and cultural reasons.
