I love these donkey sculptures, and it looks like their ears are being touched/rubbed for good luck. That 9-euro ticket is unbelievably good value! What an amazing way to encourage people to use public transport; Australia really needs to up its game when compared to countries like Germany.

9 Euro becomes 49.90 Euro
From what I understand a similar offer, costing close to 50 Euro instead of 9, will be available in Germany next year, or possibly already now. If you travel around by train it is still a damn good offer. If I was going to Germany for a week and the ticket was available I'd buy one. You only have to go two or three short trips by train and a handful of local transport rides (like metro or tram) for it to pay off. /Ake
