Kanchanaburi war memorial

Pip and i went and visited the war Memorial and the famous Bridge over the river Kwae. It was a very sad moment when you realised how many lives were lost during WWII to build the burmese -thai railway. Pip and Jess are from New Zealand and are embarking on their Big O.E.(OOOOOO!!!) Their trip Begins when they land in Singapore on the 29th of December 2006, they then will begin a 3 and 1/2 month trip over SE Asia-Singapore- malaysia-Brunei-Thailand-Cambodia.
