Gate to Puno and Lake Titicaca
This checkpoint, guarding the Cusco valley from anybody coming from the south, is partly made from solid Inca architecture. The large, smooth stones have been standing for over 500 years. Only parts of the walls made with more uneven stones had to have some restoration work done on them.
