Central Mexico
An interesting collection of architecture that included many surprises. The aqueduct and in particular this 16th C church that while not appearing to be lavish has survived the centuries. I wonder why.

Possibly the adjacent monastery has helped
I can't answer that but a wild guess is that the monastery, which is just next door, can have been a helping factor. Whatever the reason is it is good that we today can still visit it. /Ake
