Monday 1st February, 2016. Cruising the South Atlantic Ocean

D went for breakfast while M had a lie in and then we went separately to Clive's lecture on "Magellan, Beagle and the Land of Fire" which was excellent as usual. This was really to prepare us for the next two stops and the cruising experience that was to come in the next few days. Ross had announced earlier that there were loads of Albatross around the ship so D went to take a few photographs of them while M caught up with the blog. After lunch we went to the lecture by Sue Walsh on "10 tips on improving Relationships with Other People"!

Dinner was pleasant enough except for the cheese which was described as Cheddar and Red Leicester. We have never eaten rubbery Red Leicester or holey Cheddar before! It was industrial muck. The show was "From Russia With Love" by the show team. We had seen this before on another ship but still enjoyed it. Punta Arenas tomorrow. Another new country - Chile.
