Chocolate donut - terrible! Dry, hard, and with only the tiniest bit of chocolate inside.

The bus to Sarajevo arrived nearly two hours late. Gave me a chance to chat with a nice couple from Buenos Aires, who had the cutest little baby Gael, who managed to stay laughing and smiling for nearly two hours at the hot, muggy bus station. The mother is from Rotterdam and told me "Hmm ... maybe our new Canadian friend can look after Gael while we nap on the bus?" I told her that playing with kids is fine, but diaper changing is not!

Very strange ... halfway to Sarajevo, we stopped to change buses ...

... at this empty field. Felt very unsafe, and we all kind of looked at each other like "Are we getting robbed, or is this the end???"

Some surprisingly beautiful countryside in Bosnia & Herzegovina - too bad a quick photo from a moving bus can't do it justice.

I had expected to get to Sarajevo at 20:15, giving me plenty of time to check in and have a late dinner. But because of the bus delay, I ended up eating a pack of peanuts on board.
