Upcoming trip to Australia and New Zealand

This is the start of my travel blog for my upcoming trip to Tasmania, Australia and New Zealand. The summary itinerary for the trip is:

01/19/17 Fly from Nashville, TN at 4:00pm via Atlanta to Los Angeles, then to Sydney, AU and finally to the start of my trip in Hobart, Tasmania.

01/21/17 Arrive in Hobart, Tasmania after crossing the international dateline. Hobart is 17 hours ahead of Nashville.

01/27/17 Complete tour of Tasmania and fly to Melbourne, Au to begin tour of Australia. Melbourne is 17 hours ahead of Nashville.

02/01/17 Visit Alice Springs located in the Australian outback. Alice Springs is 16 hours ahead of Nashville.

02/07/17 Tour and snorkel at the Great Barrier Reef near Cairns, AU. Cairns is 16 hours ahead of Nashville.

02/08/17 Visit and tour Sidney, AU, including the famous Sidney Opera House. Sidney is 17 hours ahead of Nashville.

02/11/17 Fly to Queenstown, NZ to begin New Zealand portion of tour on the southern island. Queenstown is 19 hours ahead of Nashville.

02/20/17 Fly to Wellington, NZ, on the northern island. Wellington is 19 hours ahead of Nashville.

02/22/17 Finish my travel by visiting the National Museum of NZ in Wellington.

02/23/17 Fly back to Nashville from Wellington via Sydney and Los Angeles. I am scheduled to arrive back in Nashville on 2/23/17 at 4:20pm

It will be summer time in the Souther Hemisphere and weather during the trip will vary from below 50 degrees at Cradle Rock, Tasmania to above 100 degrees in Alice Spring, AU.

I will be traveling with Overseas Adventure Travel and a group of 16 from various places in the U.S.
