Well... two weeks until we head to the Spring season in New Zealand South Island. So while we contemplate the wardrobe wondering what to pack, we thought we would just check the current temperatures. Well.... I am now trying not to worry, but just 48 hours ago there was a cold snap and much of the South Island had snow! Temperatures have plummeted!

So, ever the practical soul, i intend to spend the next two weeks searching you tube for videos about how to fit snow chains and (thanks to Laura for the suggestion) buying a couple of very classy onesie's to wear during what is likely to be some very chilly nights in the camper van!

Still undeterred.... the countown starts now! For those of you enjoying the UK transition from Autumn to Winter I hope you enjoy following our adventure.... we will be blogging whenever wifi allows. We hope you enjoy.
