The Big Green Bus!!

Ok yes we are in Australia!! And yes we have become very lax in updating our blog!! Sorry!!! So heres our entry for New Zealand but better late then never!!

We started our month in New Zealand in Auckland before catching the Kiwi bus tour down to Christchurch with our crazy bus driver Dave! We stopped off at loads of different places and met of cool people along the way.

Highlights of the trip were definately...

• Cathedral Cove: A beautiful spot in North Island - After a long walk we were greeted by a white sandy beach and blue waters, it was also really hot (which we were soon to discover was a bit of a novelty in New Zealand!)
  
  
• Hot Water Beach: In the geothermic area of NZ. We went to dig ourselves our own little holes to allow the hot groundwater to surface. Had to fight for our space with some crazy woman! But as you can see from the photo - we won.
  
  
• Zorbing at Rotorua: So rolling down a hill in a giant inflatable ball filled with water doesn't sound the best idea but thats what these crazy New Zealanders do!
  
  
• Geysers: Giant geysers in Rotorua, but unfortunately didn't see them erupt.
  
  
• Wellington: A big night out with the Kiwi Bus, with lots of Jagerbombs!
  
  
• Lake Manupua: The Pu Pub! A picture tells a thousand words!
  
  
• Franz Josef Glacier: Losing the feeling in our toes and getting stuck in blue ice!
  
  
• Wanaka: Beautiful Mountains, lakes and mountain biking with consequences!! Some of the best weather of New Zealand and with an added bonus of a TV in the room!!!!!

So Brave!!!
Megan, can't believe you were brave enough to jump out of a plane however I recognise the shoes so it must be you!! Very impressed, I couldn't do anything like that. Hope you are both enjoying the hot weather, we have snow today!! xx
