After more than 18.000km, 22 hours of flight and even more time spent at airports over 3 continents, we finally arrived in Christchurch, New Zealand.

We are really tired and it is very hard to keep our eyes open. The flight was very rough and we spent our time with eating, sleeping, watching TV and waiting in the queue to go to the bathroom.

When we got off the plane, we realised that we smelled very bad. Both of us. And it was horrible. The first thing we both did when we arrived at the hostel was to take a shower. I have never felt so good after a shower.

Our hostel is really nice, there are bathtubs in the garden that can be used any time. They have a garden with a "self service" of salads and herbs. They also offer a free bike rental so that we will have no costs for transport here in Christchurch.
People here are way friendlier than back home. They help you for everything.

I am really excited to know how my life will be here, I'll keep you updated.

Greetings from Christchurch,

Adela
