South Island

Started at Christchurch; r&r after Sydney. Then the tour. Aoraki (Mount Cook) for 24 hrs, beautiful views, some easy walking, a reminder of the man who practiced here before climbing Everest, Sir Edmund Hillary, inspiration to reflect. A night in Queenstown before travelling through dramatic Fiordland to Milford Sound, awesome. After another night in Queenstown, on to Dunedin, homage to Carisbrook, and some winding up in the Otago rugby hall of fame. Back to Christchurch for a flight to North Island.
