Chrsitam week in NZ

Hello!! I am currently at work- so thought id take a little break- haha, and give you all another update.

Although it was a while ago- i spent christmas week over in New Zealand with Anna and Craig, near Christchurch. I didnt see or do too much, as i was very broke at the time, and so were the guys. I stayed with them in their place- a new estate area where it was all veeeery clean- very 'Truman Show'-ish. But it was great- as all the street names were of artists, including poets- where i came across a Keats- so that made my day no end!! 😊

Anna took me out on long drives a few times- to see the scenery- long drives, as they lived pretty far away from, well, everything!!! Even Christchurch was a good 30 minutes drive away.... It was great driving about though- as it was all pretty flat where we were, and you are just surrounded by huge mountains. Anna was saying id just missed all the snow- but when they are covered- the sight is amazing!!!

One day i booked onto a scenic coastal train journey that up the coast from Christchurch to Kaikoura. That was great, great sea views, and high hills, that the furthuer along the coast we got- the higher the mountains got!

Anna also took me to see the land they had bought- bloody amaing- half an acre, set right back off the road- with a whole line of mountains one side in the distance.

It is all pretty nice over there- but i think i would definately go country crazy there- i need the hussle and bussle of a city!!!
