Travelblog Goes Down

The blog has been down for a few days. In fact the whole travelblog.com website crashed and thousands of blog entries were erased. About 25 of our entries were lost. Thankfully, I just happened to back-up the website the day it went down and I have been able to restore the lost entries. Lesson: don't rely on on-line services to safely store your data. Always have your own backup. I was very lucky to have backed up. It was the first time I had backed up in several weeks. I am going to backup every week from now on.
