Day 84

We were up and out of the camp site quite early, before 9am, and, after a stop at the local supermarket for breakfast stuff, we hit the road and stopped for a picnic just south of Queenstown by the lake, and had a lovely breakfast taking in the sights. We got to Te Anau early afternoon and checked into our camp site. We finally got a top10 card which gets us 10% off each stay, as well as money off other things (including the ferry back!) It also got us $10 off one of the trips to Milford Sound, leaving 8:20 back around 16:30 so we are on that for tomorrow and very excited!!
Helen had a bit of a snooze after we arrived, and then, when she woke up, I ended up having a snooze too……for about 4 hours! Finally, I awoke and we headed to the supermaket to shop for dinner, came back and made fish and chips and then went to bed shattered with an early morning tomorrow. Te Anau is a lovely looking place, just hope we get to explore it!
