Today we left Dunedin and took the southern scenic route to Invercargill. It was a nice drive until 60km outside of Invercargill and then it was straight flat roads and I could have slept until we got into town. There isn’t much to do in Invercargill so we went to Bluff which is the southern most point on the south Island so that I could say I have been to the top and bottom of Both islands. There is also Stewart Island but the ferry there cost $120 and I just don’t care to pay that much just to see another Island. After Bluff we headed back to Te Anau to stay the night so we could go to Milford sound in the Morning. Chris and Kim booked a trip to see the glow worms across the lake and I got some well needed sleep.
