The population of this once sleepy town has exploded in the last five years.

Luge track with a view
You can ride down the Skyline Track in a wheeled luge!

View from the Head of Lake Wakatipu on the route to Glenorchy
Lake Wakatipu rises and falls up to 12cm every 5 minutes. Scientists don't know exactly what causes it, and the only other fresh water lake in the world that also does this is Lake Geneva.

They speed up to 75kmph and can skim across ankle-deep water!

Nature walk in the Dart River Valley
Beech trees in the Southern Hemisphere are different from the Northern Hemisphere species. They are evergreen, and continuously drop leaves and generate new ones throughout the year.

Downtown Queenstown
This town is loaded with shops, restaurants and bars that stay open late into the night.

They're really getting mileage out of this movie.
