SKYDIVE!!!!!!!

Well as you can probably tell from the Title of this blog I have done a skydive!!!!!!!! :D OMG it was soooooooo amazing!!! unlike ANYTHING i've EVER done before!!!! :D ahhhhhhhhhhh

Hehe.....anyways now that I have that news out of system I shall tell you about the past 4 days.....i love how i made that sound like something really interestin ghas happened when it really actually hasn't :P mwahhahaha

I am in Nelson at the moment.....this is where we did our skydive yesterday at sunset....totally gorgeous :D

Nelson is a beautiful place and the sunshine capital of NZ.....it is also home to the abel tasman national park and the centre of New Zealand to which we took a little walk today!! I think if I ever lived in NZ I would most probably live here....not only is the weather better (it is still cold, but lets face it we're in the middle of winter and it's sunny!!) but also you have the best of every single world possible....a really cute town, mountains, the sea, the beach and a beautiful national park!!! What more could you want to be honest!! hehe

Doing a skydive here was amazing too as it offered such fantasmagorical views!! Unfortunately we didn't make it to the national park as we missed the bus, but we did the walk to the centre of New Zealnd which was pretty cool :D

Over the past 4 days we've pretty much been travelling from place to place non-stop. We did a walk to the waterfall where they filmed some scenes with gollum in for Lord of the Rings....that was pretty cool. We also went to this really cute little Lodge called River Valley Lodge which was soooooo nice....they had a massive log fire in the middle of the communal bar/dining area!! We also slept in 'orgy dorms' basically a big long bed in one dorm (we managed to fit 5 people onto 4 matresses in our section which was pretty good going!hehe) We also went for a little walk around the area which was really pretty and had some beautiful scenery!! After River Valley we headed to Wellington - The Capital of NZ - This is a really nice city and as Megs and I are such keen beans we went to the Museum even though we only got to be in there for about 45mins as we arrived quite late in the day in Wellington, unfortunately we left early in the morn too so I think that we did very well to motivate ourselves to go!!hehe It was definately well worth it too.....we looked at the Forces section all about earthquakes and also the Maouri and immigration section which was all really interesting. Did you know if I had lived when everyone from England migrated over here I would have been able to come for free....all because i'm single and under 40!!!hahaha In the evening we had a really good night out and managed to give ourselves 3 hours sleep between getting back in and having to catch the bus the next morning.....go us!!! :P

We took the ferry from North to South Island and stopped off just after Picton to do some wine tasting (in which I did not participate!!) The place we stopped was really cute though and had a nice little cafe and gift shop to browse through....a little expensive for a backpacker though!! We then headed straight to Nelson which is where I am this very second.....We were whisked off to do our skydive the second we arrived so as to make sure it didn't get too dark to jump again!! Apparently the last skydive of the day is the best one too so that was good for Megs and I, as we went up together after Emma and Ellie had done theirs!!

Anyways I best sign off and go and enjoy this wonderful country!! We're off to Westport tomorrow (apparently it's very small and there's not much to do there but i'm sure we'll find a walk or something!!! Seriously if you like walking NZ is the place to come!!)
