Day 4. The Mangataki coastline.

Today started our journey towards the Mangataki coastline, to the west. We met a guide a couple of days back, when we were still in Wellington. He offered us a full day of sport-fishing out on the open sea. As we afterall was here in New Zealand to try new stuff, we accepted his offer. I am glad to tell you we made a good choice to spend a day out on the open sea, to smell the fresh air and taste the taste of freedom. The fishing wasn't so bad either.

As we were turning back towards the docks we spotted a large group of people following the coast. It looked like a filmcrew, hence the massive truck they had with them. We reached to docks, and we had a coffe and bisquit-break before leaving to travel south along the coast. Later in the day, we overheard some locals talking about the filmcrew of "The Hobbit". As the nerds we are, we were hyped to almost have met the geniouses behind the Lord of the Ring trilogy.
