Whale Watching in Kaikoura

I saw at least 5 whales up close! I could NOT believe it. These huge, seemingly lazy, beautiful animals floating on the surface of the ocean and blowing water every other minute. This made it easy to spot them, plus once close, you could easily see their whole body. Three different times we saw them flip up and around to descend into the depths of the sea to do more hunting. This is when their tail would slowly, gracefully flip up into the air and disappear into the water. It was so beautiful! Pictures should be amazing, but coming soon....
