Franz Josef Glacier
West Coast, South Island, New Zealand The text on this blog was also lost on the crash and what I can remember from here is .............. hithed with Yana from Hokitika and was picked up by a crew of Irish people with the thickest Irish accent you ever heard... was brilliant... got dropped off to the smallest town ever in Franz Josef, booked into a lovely little hostel right across the road from the internet bus. Next day me Yana and some other girl hiked to the base of the glacier which was pretty cool and for the day after I convinced myself Id do a full days hike up Franz...originally I just wanted to see Franz and Hike Fox but as I was there I decided to do it.... All congrigated in the office on the morning of the hike and got kitted out, hiked to the base and was split up into 2 groups and off we went... great day hiking and hard going at times, I think a half day was enough.
When the day finally ended and it was time for home I got talking to a dub (not his fault he is from Dublin but I spoke to him
Franz Josef Glacier
West Coast, South Island, New Zealand anyway) lol! only joking! worked out that he was driving to Queenstown the next day and I was going there too but had no transportation booked so he kindly invited me along... so in true Irish style we went out to celebrate that night and what a night it was..... t'was a bit crazy to be hinest and one of the best nights I've had in the South Island.....
Next morning the road to Queenstown begins............

Nice to see you
Hi, Bridgette? NIce to see your photos. Looks like real winter in South Island with snow. :) I'm OK, now living with my boyfriend. We are planning to travel around NZ this summer. Maybe will follow your trips. Goodluck and take care! Miss you.
