Dunedin Botanical Gardens

Finally getting acquainted with the neighbourhood surrounding Abbey. Today, after the first week of classes, I spent the afternoon hiking through the Botanical Gardens. The gardens stretch from directly behind Abbey College, all the way up to the grocery store. The Botanical Gardens are surprisingly vast, and they stretch upward along the hillside, with a great view of the city. I haven't made it though all of the trails yet but I look forward to finding the Aviary, which is somewhere at the top of the gardens.
