QT GY
There was a graveyard in back of our hotel Well, Queenstown was a blast! I did not go bungy jumping, however. The Shotover Jet was one of my most memorable experiences in QT. At over 80km an hour, we 'shot' up and down the Shotover River, going through canyons, almost hitting the walls, turning at the last second with hairpin turns. Then the driver would do full 360 spins! I'm so glad I had sunglasses to keep the water out of my eyes.
Besides that, I took the gondola QT is famous for up the mountain side and enjoyed the views. They have a luge ride up there as well, so I decided to try that out. I got stuck behind a kid that was going really slow, so I'd stop and wait until I thought she was far enough away. The scenery was gorgeous up here and I spent at least 2 hours just taking it in.
The last thing I did in QT was go to Minus 5. Now, they also have one in Las Vegas, but I figure it is way more expensive and probably doesn't include alcohol with standard admission. A bunch of our class went to celebrate the engagement of Nikki and Richard. They served

This was on the way up. everything in ice glasses. I was a small room though and there wasn't much space to move around. Still, it was freezing and there was ice used in many ways, and there was a bar, so I guess that covers the points of it. =P
Right now, I'm in Dunedin. We're staying at another Holiday Lodge; which means it's a room with bunk beds and a table. At least it is a roof over our heads. I really don't mind staying in places like this. It keeps the costs down.
Today we went to the Otago museum. This was basically another city museum, but they did have a lot (tons) of interesting Art History artifacts. Next was the Cadbury Factory Tour. WE GOTS FREE CHOCOLATES! And the chocolate was so cheap! There was even a chocolate waterfall (the only real one in the world) in one of their silos. I saw 1 ton of chocolate fall 60ft before my eyes. I splurged on a few unique bars they sell only in NZ.
After the Chocolate Factory was the Beer Brewery. Speights is the choice beer of Kiwi's (locals) so we just had to see this place. They're the only

Beautiful day in Queenstown! brewery in the world that still has their original copper silos. Most breweries switched to stainless steel when it was available and now copper is too expensive to install. The tourguide was great! He said he was skipping a couple parts so we could have more time in the bar. We had 10 extra minutes (40 total) to try their 6 beers on tap. We could have as much as we wanted in that time. It was so fantastic. PLEASE keep in mind, I'm not a beer person, but it was interesting to try new things. =)
Tomorrow it's another Biology midterm and then Albatrosses and Penguins! Yay!!!! ^.^
