Edit Blog Post

Woke late today after a great sleep in a very comfy bed and a very quiet hostel, just what we need for a couple of days.

It's been raining all night and is still raining when we leave the hostel for the day. Raincoats packed we head to the city centre to do a few jobs and to see what we can do in Christchurch in the rain.

The city looks really English, a bit like York maybe. We wandered the streets, of which there are many, in search of a bag to carry excess luggage to make our backpacks a little lighter and easier to carry around.

We went to the Cathedral and contemplated the botanical gardens but decided to leave that till tomorrow when the weather could possibly be a bit brighter.

Not much more to report as we have just spent about four hours in the internet cafe updating journals and trying to plan our Australia trip which is getting closer.

Once we have left New Zealand we will not be writing travel blogs for every day just when we have enough interesting stuff to tell you all, Andrew's obviously had enough as
