Can't Get Enough of Christchurch

So on to Christchurch which we found a bit rainy, but hey ho, we only really wanted to sit in the Lyme Bar. We found Freddy and H on very good form, the bar was buzzing, we told them all our travel stories, had a few cocktails, a few shots (oh no, we promised we wouldn't!) and somehow ended up getting back to our campervan at 5.30am.. Freddy, we still blame you, you are too enthusiastic a barman 😊 Anyway, another great night in Christchurch - that bar is just so much fun. Thanks again guys - and anyone in Christchurch you must drop by, have one of Freddy's cocktails (not one of his shots!) and give them both a hug from us.

Understandably this put us back another day, as we clearly were in no state to drive the 5 hour drive to Picton the next day to catch the ferry to the North Island! Luckily we changed our ferry crossing with no problem and spent the day sleeping off our sore heads. Winnies pizzas saved the day momentarily before heading back to the van for more sleep....
