Day 30 - Back to Christchurch

We were supposed to get a coach back late in the afternoon but the onset of the rain and the thought of 1247 rest breaks and tour chatter got to much so we took the local shuttle to Christchurch in the morning in record (and silent) time. We decided to have a brief explore of Christchurch and lunch by the river. A dull afternoon in comparison to some we have had as we had to do laundry in preparation for flying to the US tomorrow (no more NZ :-( ). For our last night we decided to do something really local and New Zealand like so we went to an Irish bar and watched a typically Irish band.
