Caught the bus out to ??Sandford?? a pretty seaside town where the hills meet the sea. Began exhausting climb up hill at end of bay. Beautiful cliff top scenery as we walked in hot sunshine. It was a relief to get in the shade. Enjoyed our sandwiches on a hill overlooking Taylor's Mistake beach and then descended to the beach for an hour. I enjoyed the huge waves crashing in with several others. We took the rather tricky road route back (twisty roads - fast traffic and no pavement much of the way). The bus back to town was bizarrely full of German students who all got off at different stops.
