We did a lovely walk through the forest... From time to time we were granted with breath taking views.
Now we are even more south... as we exspected it is a little bit colder than the north... obviously, because its closer to the south pole and probably less influenced by the warm current coming from South America.

After two days in Renwick we visited a vineyard and just enjoyed relaxing and not having to go anywhere for anything. The hostel named Watson's Way was so inviting with a standard so high, even some hotels don't meet.

Then we went to Marahau in the North. It's the base for trips to the Abel Tasman National Park. One of New Zealands most beautiful parks. Enjoy the pictures. Some people do a five day trip through it, but we are lazy and limited in time... :-P

oh by the way we've made first contact with the famous and merciless Sandflies. They look like Trosophilas, but leave bloodbath and itching.

We did a wine tasting because this region is one of the major regions for wine growth.

Meat is so cheap here. This 800g steak (yes we split it in two) was just 4 Euro at the butchers.
