Well done for finally getting the ball in the net, almost makes it worth while getting up at 4am in the middle of a NZ winter to watch the match!

Very festive in our house courtesy of Caz who exported some England paraphernalia to Tom for his birthday, good one. There is a buzz about the football over here especially as Kiwis as known to support New Zealand (not a big footie nation) and anyone who is playing Australia. We are both taking part in an online football prediction thing run by TVNZ, and there are 40,000 people taking part so someone must be taking an interest - For a glorious day Liz was 98th but she has dropped back down to 16,254th. . Tom is someway below that, but doesn’t like to talk about it.

Unbelievably we realised that it is 6 months to the day (in Southern Hemisphere terms) since we left the UK! Since we fly back on the 16th Jan 2007 then of course this means we have exactly 6 months more to go, yay!
