We have to keep moving. Our aim is to make it to the North Island of New Zealand. We left Christchurch early in the morning to drive to Picton - a 5 hours drive where the ferry terminal is. But we took our time and made it a day trip to a couple of pit stops along the way. Our first pit stop is Hanmer Springs. The drive there was really pleasant and scenic.
