April 3rd 2007To Picton via the beautiful Queen Charlotte Drive. Some idyllic spots along the way where it would be wonderful to live. We had time for a relaxing couple of ours before boarding the Interislander ferry Arahura. Beautiful weather as we cruised through Malborough Sound finally out through the narrow Tory Channel into the Cook Straight. Only a slight swell as we crossed. Docked at about 5:30pm.. Treated ourselves to ensuite at the very central YHA. A superb new building.
