Day in Wellington

Drove to Wellington. It's a nice city with loads of shops. The view driving from Paraparaumu to the capital is breathtaking as the road goes right along the coast. Apparently there are quite a few head-on collisions because drivers spend too much time looking at the view rather than the road.

We played pool and darts in an English pub for a while and then went to a few more bars. It was quite a quiet night for a saturday and the bards didn't really fill up until midnight. You do notice a big gap in the age groups here though. There didn't seem to be anyone between the ages of 20 and 30. This is undoubtedly because most Kiwis at that age leave the country.
