We have just had a wonderful surprise visit from Candace all the way from London. She stayed with us for two nights.We had an amazing dinner at Joel and Chelle's on the Sunday night. Kathryn was able to come so we all had a great 'chinwag' Joel cooked the dinner and it was incredible. Lovely fresh fish that they had caught out on the Hauraki Gulf. Joel's dinner was as good as you would get in any top restaurant.
We took Candace and Chelle down to Karipiro for a family day. Dad and Aunty Bubbles travelled through from Whakatane. They were both looking so fit and well. We had a lovely lunch and a lot of laughs. Candace and Gill were then flying down to Queenstown for the wedding od Candace's friend Claire. Candace was to be bridesmaid.

Chelle and Joel's vege planters are amazing. Graham helped Chelle shovel dirt into the planters. Quite a job.

Chelle and Joel also went out fishing with friends and caught 40 fish!!!!!! They also got into trouble with the inspectors for having two fish under size by 2mm and 5mm. They are hoping to get off with a warning!!! I must say they are very good with measuring the fish they catch. They will now have to be extra careful.
