Went for a coastal walk after breakfast and stumbled across a beautiful little beach whose blue waters were overhung by the serpentine boughs of oak tress. Much fun was had expoloring and Hat rechristened herself Tiger Lily Grylls. The dip also served as a handy shower.
We set south again on our way to Rotorua. Yesterday's roads were very bendy but today we had sections of dual carriageway to whizz along. A bun shop stop perked us up and we arrived at Lake Rotorua at lunchtime. Cas teased me as the site has the name 'Willowby Affordable Holiday Park'. Ok, so it was fairly basic, but we had a lakeside pitch and great views. I'm hoping that this compensates for the 'public loo feel of the shower block' as Cas termed it.
