Hello Everyone

Welcome to my blog page. Isn't this exciting!! I can bore you all to tears here with numerous wildlife stories and facts. Did you know, for example, that the porcupine has over 30,000 quills and if threatened it will vigorously lash its tail, dislodging and therefore throwing its quills. So it's not just the bears I have to watch for!! Then there are the male moose and elk who apparently become "belligerent" in spring. Canada has 88 species of amphibians, lizards, turtles and snakes(!), so I think I'll be right at home 😊

Anyway I've attached a couple of photos of the walk to Honeycomb rock and other random NZ shots.

All the best.
