Merrylees Hotel
The Merrylees Hotel DannevirkeWe stopped in Dannevirke at home of the famous Merrylees Hotel for a pint of lager and a packet of crisps!!
Great to see where the Merrylees hail from, even though we had to pay for our drinks!!! the kids thought it was great being in Grandpas pub.
They now have a million questions for Grandpa about it all.
Travelled the long way round to Wellington through Greytown, stopped at the Tui brewery shop and pub at Mangatainoka it's beginning to sound like a pub crawl.
Over the Rimutaka Ranges and into the Hutt valley. Mitch wanted to know if there woul be pizza there.
Set up camp in Seaview in windy Wellington.
