Hello Everyone,

Well since my last entry, I stayed at the Apple tree Cottage until Sunday, while I was still there Joe (the Maori Showing us around) took us to Papamoa and we climbed the hill where his ancestors originated from and the climb was pretty high and I almost fell down haha. It wasn't too bad! We also went peppie fishing (Its pretty much a clam), I played a poker tournament in Tauranga and lost but it was still fun. Since we stayed until Sunday the owner of the Hostel came by and started acting like a dragon lady and claiming she never said $50 dollars each a week. She was a crazy lady, but eventually we worked something out (even though she yelled at us and called us "not very good Canadians") but whatever.

Ok so after we finally left Tauranga we took off on a bus and headed to Thames. We stayed for one night, the place was a ghost town, no one there and it also does really have a creepy old days gold rush feel to it. We stayed at ABC and it was like a haunted old hotel. We decided to leave because there was not too much going on there so we rented a car, I need to ignore all my natural driving instincts, and headed to Coromandel town where we stayed for three nights(in a tent). The only down side of staying there is they sound an alarm that sounds like the old war horns that make you want to hide under the table, everytime there is and emergency in the area. It sounded at 6 in the morning, which was not very pleasant.

The first night there we just hung out and settled in. The next day we met a nice family from NZ that lent us there boggie board at a beach in between Coromandel and Whitianga. The next day there was kinda a bit of a storm so we just went to Whitianga for groceries and came back and played some board games and socialized with a few people. The next day (which was yesterday) we went fishing on a barge through the 'Mad Fisherman' and caught a crapload of red snapper, we were allowed to keep nine each, but we gave some away to the skipper and some asians that were fishing at the dock. Yesterday Ashley, a friend of a friend came to meet us and now there are three of us travelling together for now. Today we left Coromandel and now we are staying at the Cats Pajamas in Whitianga. That about covers everything up until now, sorry if this blog is not as good as the last one but I am crushed for time and want to make sure I get this through. Well everyone take care and I miss you all
