A short note about today.

Today we needed to move from the Kauri Coast to Rotorua, a small town below Auckland with lots of activity. It lays in the hard of a geothermal field with lots of volcanic and related activities. The ride between the two places was about 6 hours, and really, we love the open fields and the great panoramas that New Zealand offers, but 6 hours is some what too much of it. Although it keeps being impressive to see hundreds of cows standing in a small patch of grass.

We arrived in Rotorua after 4.00 pm and looking at our pre-prepared agenda, we came to the conclussion that we still had some more activity planned for us: a visit to the local thermal bath. Just what the docter ordered; relaxing and soothing.

The waters in the thermal baths smell of sulpher (rotten eggs) and are hot, which made me thinks of other eggs, hard boiled, when I walked in.....

After a nice dinner at a local bistro, we turned early today.
