Went on a little three day trip last week to Whakatane and Mt Maunganui.
Started tuesday morning bright and early by picking up the car from the rental company - promised to be a lot of fun 'coz that was only my second time driving a car with the steering wheel on the wrong/right (pun intended here...) side of the car. Surprisingly enough I made it up to Whakatane in one piece and started planning what to do that day. I ended up decinding on a sunset kayak tour - just me and the tour guide. Had a lot of fun and some good memeories (pics included to make you all extra jealous!). So now I decided to find a kayaking operatro here in Rotorua to see some more of the area. Finished that evening nice and lazy with beer and a pizza while sitting in bed watching cartoons. *Simply perfect*
Next day was another early start driving to Mt Maunganui. On the way I stopped at the KIWI360 Experience where I went to see an orchard, learn more about kiwis (only the fruit though) and drove around in a Kiwi on wheels...
Almost at my destination I simply had to
stop for a little splash in the waves because I'd been driving along the beach for almost half an hour now and it just looked too inviting.
The evening at the Mount was pretty quite but the next day promised to be a lot more exciting. So I got up even earlier went to the wharf and waited for the boat to pick me up because I went to see dolphins that morning and also got the chance to swim with them!!!!!! What an amazing day. But sadly enough all this had to end and I had to go back to Rotorua. I'll keep you all updated on my adventures over here.
Love you all!

Was ein großartiger Tag.
Liebe Grüße an euch alle!
