Auckland.

Walked around Auckland and relaxed in hotel room for a bit catching up on the news.
Very scary stuff happening over in Japan.
Nuclear Power station clean-up workers trying to lay cables to provide power to cool the nuclear rods. A number of then were exposed to high levels of radioactivity and experienced severe Beta ray burns to their skin which will burn, blister and come off and have to be replaced with skin grafts. It was due to increased radioactivity levels in s room that had been measured earlier to show lesser levels.
Black plumes hovering above the station.
Cook shut down requires several years. It's a slow process cooling down the Rods.
Babies cannot drink the tap water now. Water is an absolute necessity and tons of bottles of mineral water are being brought in. Don't know how this is going to play out.
